Thanksgiving Activities:
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade: A true American tradition. The 94th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air nationwide on Thursday, November 26, 2020 from 9 a.m. to noon in all time zones. Watch live on YouTube, linked HERE.
Watch how the floats and giant balloons are made. I’m shocked they are hand-painted!
ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot: It’s the 30th Anniversary of one of Austin’s most beloved Thanksgiving traditions, and it’s going virtual! The event WILL go on this year, with many of the things we’ve always loved about the Turkey Trot, and some new fun things.
- 100 percent of the event proceeds will benefit Caritas of Austin.
- The $25 registration fee gets you an iconic Turkey Trot long-sleeved T-shirt!
- Run with your family and friends on Thanksgiving Day, anywhere in the world that you happen to be, help raise money, and compete for virtual prizes on online platforms.
This virtual event can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill or on the track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. You’ll be given the opportunity to record your time for the 5 Mile and 1 Mile Walk/Run and see how you stack against others in the same distance. Register online, linked HERE.
I like this blog. I always find nice and useful information. Thanks 🙂
Thank you, Monica! It’s my pleasure to help! Happy Thanksgiving!
