Hey ESL Students! This is your weekly update as to what is happening in the world of ESL! This, like many other weeks, is filled with things for you to do!
ESL Scholarships
For students who are interested in snagging one of our ESL scholarships for next semester. The deadline to turn that in is this Monday! We need your application as well as the typed one-page personal statement by 5 pm on July 15. If you do not have an application you can still pick one up from the ESL front desk.
Talk Time
Join us in a weekly discussion group where you get to interact with native English speakers. You will be put into groups based on your listening and speaking level. The event will help improve your conversational skills. Talk Time takes place every Wednesday from 3:45 – 5:00 p.m. at UNB 3.128 Sinclair Suite.
TACO… Friday?
This Friday we have another social event! We will be having tacos this Friday for lunch. Come meet our faculty and your fellow students. Join us at CBA 3.304 from 12-2 pm on July 19 to get some tacos from Taco Ranch. We will also have vegetarian options, chips & salsa, soda, lemonade, and cookies.
