Destination Spring Break
“Students don’t have to go far to enjoy spring break this year with Destination Spring Break, March 14-19. During this series of events, the UT Austin campus will be transformed into popular spring break destinations featuring a signature meal and great activities. There will also be opportunities to win prizes throughout the week.
All events will follow university health guidance and social distancing. The new Activity Pass on the Protect Texas Together app is your “fast pass” at event entrances. Test via Proactive Community Testing, get cleared with a green check mark on the app that’s good for seven days to speed through event check-in. If students are planning to attend events all week, we recommend they get tested Monday, March 15 to maximize the activity pass for the entire week.”

Traveling During Spring Break?
Negative COVID-19 Test Required to Enter U.S.
All passengers entering the U.S. by air must provide a negative COVID-19 test before boarding their flight, as required by the CDC.
Passengers are required to get a test within three days of their departure. Written documentation of the negative test result must be provided to the airline before boarding, or the airline will not allow you to board. If you have previously been infected with COVID-19, but are no longer contagious, you can provide documentation of your recovery in place of a negative test result.
Upon arrival to the U.S., the CDC recommends that passengers get tested again 3-5 days after arrival and stay home for at least one week.
